Look here for what our guests say about their holiday here!

What a fantastic house! What a great location!

Through an almost impossible road we arrived in the dark to La Cencerrita.

Where are we? We thought.

But once inside .... we felt immediately a welcome home feeling.

Colleen and Alan certainly help, nothing is too much for them.

We came here to de-stress, and we certainly did!

Everything has been thought of.

Besides the fantastic Jacuzzi and the refreshing pool (brrr ...) we enjoyed a lot of the facilities.

We had a delicious barbecue, read a lot of books, played Jenga and Scrabble. But we even played petanque. And Richard has discovered his talents on the xylophone! (Now Bertine still feels her ears)

We only left "the mountain" one time to enjoy La Alhambra and the snow of the Sierra Nevada.

Furthermore, only sun, nature and each other!

Summarized a great relaxing holiday.

Well your finca was all we hoped for and more, total chill out, in amazing surroundings. I wished I'd taken more appropriate footwear and did more walking, the short walk to the top of the property was impressive enough, but "flip flops" are only suitable for the pool / spa / bbq area !!

I would advise anyone who is planning to stay at Cencerrita to read Colleen and Alan's book, you will then appreciate their achievement in the finca renovation and the cabin build..... I still can't believe how they got the building materials etc. on to the site.... with a Vitara and trailer.

Colleen and Alan are perfect hosts, close if you need them, but giving total privacy, in fact we hardly saw them from start to finish of our holiday, the pool and spa were magically cleaned when we got up (late !).

We were a little unlucky to have few days of high winds, but curled up inside with our favourite tipple, a blazing log fire and a good DVD more than made up it.

All in all a unique holiday experience and one we will repeat. Thanks both for a great time

OHHH...we've been back at work since 3 days and it feels already like far too long since our last daily submerge into the hot water and hang-out time in the spa.

Life seems unfair.

(Then again I am happy that our week of spring weather turned out to be so good and by comparison turned out to be even better.)

I love the pictures you took. Great! Especially since, as we noticed, we didn't take a single one of the two of us together. We also noticed we forgot to sign the guestbook, when we were half way in between Malaga and Copenhagen. A good sign for the fact that our brains were truly "out of office = out of order" :-)

It was great to see you again and we truly enjoyed our week. My scale tells me that I should have written the last "truly" in capitals.

Long breakfasts on the terrace, great Spanish food, El Tintero lunch, loads of beer/wine in the sun as well as absolute relaxation...nothing more to wish for.

Just to say what a lovely and beautiful place, we have had a wonderful 10 days here. Villa and scenery are amazing and it was so quiet and tranquil.

Thank you both so much especially for our dinner on the first night and the way you have looked after us, nothing was too much trouble. We hope to see you again in the near future

Select the business tab in the top left and just write "Cencerrita" and it takes you right to us! The roads drawn in white on Google earth should be taken "with a pinch of salt"- at least in our area - they are not particularly accurate.  For example, it shows a through road going right across Cencerrita - this, we can assure you, does not exist!!

We also laughed at the route Google gives you from Malaga Airport ... you wouldn't so much need a 4 x 4 as a helicopter! Don't worry though, we provide you with very precise directions ... which work!
