For a never-to-be forgotten Spanish holiday

Rural self-catering country villa to rent on an old almond and olive farm. A delightful Spanish holiday (vacation) accommodation, near Álora and Cártama, inland from Malaga, Andalusia, Southern Spain. Sleeps 2 - 4 + child, 2 en-suite bedrooms, with a private pool and outdoor hot tub/spa/Jacuzzi. Whilst enjoying privacy and seclusion, remote from civilisation, you are not isolated at all: a 20 minute drive brings you to the local town, 45 minutes to the Costa del Sol and all its attractions and less than an hour to Malaga Airport. Perfect for walking, rock climbing, painting, photographers, honeymooners, romantic couples, yoga, rambling, bird watching and those wanting to just relax.

Look here for what our guests say about their holiday here!

We stayed here for 5 nights.  It sure is too short. This is real country life with all the comfort - only the dishwasher is missing (joke!)

What a different with the most crowded part of Holland where we live.

After the experience of Geo-cashing in Spain, it will never be the same in Holland.  Fantastic!

When we arrived we were quite astonished by all the green hills and the many flowers on the winding way to La Cencerrita. Unfortunately our first week we had wind, dark clouds and rain drops. Ups!  Could this be Andalucia?  But then the weather gods were good to us after all .  Our second week presented us with real summer feelings! We enjoyed the great views and the rolling green hills. Took our time with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Made some walks through the almond trees and even jumped in the cold water of the pool!!

We had a great time here!  Thanks for your support and hospitality.

Thank you a wonderful week in this stunning place.  It reminds us of our real home (South Africa)

We're dreading leaving the fresh air and open spaces only to be replaced by a crowded London.

Glad Arwen made a recovery and was able to visit towards the end. Thanks again for your gracious hospitality.

Dear Alan and Colleen

We are sorry to be leaving this "little bit of heaven on Earth" La Cencerrita, but can't wait to be back in 16 weeks. The views are fantastic and the roof terrace the ideal place for viewing.

It has been a beautiful and unforgettable way to spend my 60th birthday (Mags) with thanks and love to Kirsty and Dave and to you both for the card and wine.

We have all enjoyed the spa and pool and absolutely no time or clock watching at all.

Thank you so much for being the perfect hosts.  We all hope Arwen continues her recovery and want to see her back fit and well for next time. Devon and Jack send their love and have really enjoyed themselves.

Dear Alan, Colleen and not forgetting Arwen.

We would like to thank you very much for our wonderful holiday in Finca Cencerrita. When we arrived Saturday the weather wasn’t very nice, rain and cool.

The First person we met was the man from the car hire firm. Top Cars. He said sorry about the weather Sunday afternoon we would see the sun shine again. He was right. Sunday onwards we only enjoyed Sun 19 to 23 degrees Celsius. Just perfect!

Meeting up with you both after doing the shopping, you showed us the way UP to the house Cencerrita. We didn’t realize we would be so far from the main road. On the drive up I was thinking, where are they taking us. But when we arrived….

“Paradise” .What a lovely place you have both created and with all that hard work.

You can be proud of yourselves and to find the courage to leave the UK and achieve the goal you set out. Everything was perfect, your instructions how to use everything and where to go for things and where to find everything. Great hosts. And just a phone call away.

The home made road maps where brilliant and very useful. The information book with tips about the walks and thing to do in the area.

We enjoyed so much the beautiful views, from the Mediterranean sea up to the mountains. We just couldn’t get enough of it. The color contrast were so capturing.  And that Jacuzzi topped it all of to a T.  The girls loved it.

We spent one afternoon down in Malaga and Torremolinos. Oh, we were so pleased to get back up to the house. Back to the Peace and quiet of our very own “luxury Hide”. We spent day in Ronda which was very nice, And a day in Sevilla. The drive to Sevilla was a treat. A nice and quiet motorway. Not like here in Holland and the Uk.

We laughed when Arwen (the dog) took us for a drive down to Álora in our car. She must have run a least 3 miles in front at the side and behind us. We thought we could lose her but she kept popping up again further down the track. I bet she slept well that night!

I’ll leave it at this for now and finish the letter after we Come Back again! Oh and the wild flowers and cactuses….

Again thank you both very much.

Ps. Belinda said, how can we bring our experiences of Cencerrita across to family, friends and college’s ? I said, you can only say so much, you can show them all the photos. You can’t not do anymore than that. They will have to find out for themselves.

The real experience you keep in your heart all for your self.

Thank you for a lovely stay.  The finca is perfectly positioned to offer fine views for miles.  We enjoyed waking up to the beautiful views, going on walks and spending the evenings in the hot tub.  It is a very relaxing place.

Our last day was the best - beautiful sun and no wind - like spring at home) on January 10th!) We sat in the hot tub and were too hot!  We may come back in warmer weather so the boys can go in the swimming pool!
