A completely spectacular location with everything you could
wish for in creature comforts. Whilst the weather wasn't always the
kindest, walk around the valley and find a sheltered spot and it could be
summer. Thank you Colleen and Alan for all your hard
work to ensure I had a comfortable and relaxed visit to your part of Spain |

Just a big thank you for letting us share your lovely villa.
We have had the most wonderful holiday and you have looked after us
superbly. From the moment we arrived we just fell in love with the
house, the wonderful view, the evening sunsets, the peace and tranquillity,
the pool, evening barbeques, the spa, and looking up at the magnificent
starts. Usually on holiday we are here there and
everywhere exploring but all three of us just didn't want to move from this
wonderful place.
Thanks again fro everything, especially we must mention
the super barbecue we shared together and the wonderful paella you cooked
for us all on our last evening. Wonderful memories to think upon until
we see you again in May - we can't wait!

We have had a wonderful stress free, quiet week. We ventured
out twice, but really enjoyed the sunshine, pool, spa and fabulous scenery.
The house and its facilities are all that anyone could hope for, for a
relaxing holiday and we thank you Alan and Colleen for your attention to
detail - much appreciated. We hope to return in 2007, God willing.

A beautiful place, excellent views especially from the edge
of the pool. The stars were beautiful from the comfort of the spa at night.
I really enjoyed by visit just wish it could have been longer. Dawn

We loved the time we spent at La Cencerrita. The villa was
well equipped and furnished to a very high standard and was a great place to
get away from it all. We'd also like to say thank you to both of you for
your generous hospitality, making us very comfortable and feel at home.
We're just sorry our stay ended so abruptly. Elliott and Kieran were
certainly very taken by the pool and Arwen too |

I've really enjoyed our stay especially the pool Arwen was
great Thank you Lucy x (aged 8) Thank you for our
stay. The pool was brilliant as well as the paella. Thanks Tom (aged 14)
What a fantastic place. It doesn't get better. In the pool
with a fantastic view. Paella, watching the sunset and spa late into the
evening with the star shining above. Even had the chance to see a shooting
star. Colleen and Alan you have done a wonderful job. Thanks for making us
so welcome. All the best for the future, Julie (age withheld!!)

We really enjoyed our week. Having a swim or a spa was
great, I finally saw some shooting stars for the first time in my
life. This is the second time we are visiting and we still think that
everything here is amazing. A great way to unwind and relax, superb
views, even though we live the the Swiss mountains. Alan and Colleen
have certainly found a wonderful quiet part of Spain. |

How great if someone gives you the chance to spend your
honeymoon in paradise :) - Thank you Colleen and Alan!!! We had
heavenly days here enjoying the view, the tranquillity, the birds, stars,

We have had a lovely break from Blighty up here in the hills
- a lovely tranquil setting. The taste of Spain given to us has made
us want to come back again.l Your house is simply wonderful and you
should be very proud of your achievements. We will go home with fond
memories of our time here and thankfully plenty of phots to remind us of the
fantastic scenery you are lucky enough to see everyday. Oh well, back

"We have had a wonderful stay. We've eaten well, drank
well!!!, enjoyed the mountains and views and been made to feel thoroughly
welcome. Alan has put himself out to ensure we've seen the sights - we had a
super day yesterday at El Chorro. Best of all has been enjoying the
spa! I'll say no more .... but I would thoroughly recommend the

"When we
envisioned our first trip to Andalucia we had this totally unrealistic ideal
in mind. Cencerrita has proved that our ideal was not unrealistic after all.
Alan and Colleen are fantastic hosts. We were treated like treasured
friends, not just guests. This setting feels as close to heaven as
we've ever been. Even the track up here adds to the over-all experience; for
a bunch of flatlanders, we can say we conquered it (and our apprehension)!
We highly
recommend Alan's tour of El Chorro and Colleen's delicious meals. And to top
things off, we truly enjoyed tramping over the hills with the third
Cencerriten - the 4-legged Arwen." |

"This was our quiet walking holiday after a hectic Christmas at home. The
tranquillity of La Cencerrita, the beauty of the surrounding mountains and
