Rural self-catering country villa to rent on an old almond and olive farm. A delightful Spanish holiday (vacation) accommodation, near Álora and Cártama, inland from Malaga, Andalusia countryside, Southern Spain. Sleeps 2 - 4 + child, 2 en-suite bedrooms, with a private pool and outdoor hot tub/spa/Jacuzzi. Whilst enjoying privacy and seclusion, remote from civilisation, you are not isolated at all: a 25 minute drive brings you to the local town, 45 minutes to the Costa del Sol and all its attractions and less than an hour to Malaga Airport. Primarily for those wanting to just relax and escape from it all, it is a perfect getaway for walking, rock climbing, painting, photographers, honeymoons, romantic couples, yoga, rambling, geo-caching and bird watching.

For example:

Mike and Wietske spent their month long honeymoon touring Andalucía with the last week at Cencerrita: " ... we couldn't believe the amazing views, the lovely pool and the relaxing spa ... we just couldn't leave this beautiful, quiet place." May 2009

We might add here, though, whilst the Mini Cooper is a great car to treat yourselves to for touring, it is not really suitable for the tracks around here!

Kathryn and Mark chose to have their honeymoon at Cencerrita and, we're glad to say, had wonderful time!  Mark's mother was in cahoots with us, and between us we arranged a surprise special dinner, bottles of bubbly, chocolates, fresh flowers (not easy in this climate and location!) ... all in all, a truly memorable time was had by the happy couple. August 2008

Australians Frankie and Roastie were working in the UK ... and really needed to get somewhere warmer for Christmas ...and that's just what they did!  With a couple of flatmates in tow to share the costs, they enjoyed a week of sunshine at Cencerrita - and were kind enough to invite Alan and me to their turkey Christmas lunch ... outside! December 2008

Charmian wanted to take her partner abroad for his 40th Birthday.  Clive had NEVER been out of the UK before, so she was very wary that it could all go wrong if she picked the wrong place.  Luckily after emailing each other a few times, we were happy that we had things sorted: Clive had a birthday he will not forget in a hurry!  Apparently he is already planning his next trip ... March 2005

Petra and Denis came here for their honeymoon - thought it was paradise! That fabulous feeling when you wake up in the morning and see the incredible view across the mountains - no photo can do it justice.  May 2005
